I built a man
I built a man out of wood and clay And toiled over his body by night and by day Gave him hands made of steel and emeralds for eyes A heart made of gold and a head full of lies
I made a home inside his chest, I beat my fists Against his breast, and breathed my air into his lungs This man was alive, my work was done And he could walk and he could speak This man that I built, he was so eager to...

most-awkward-moments:
i literally used to cry at night because my furby would randomly start talking and wake me up and i was too scared to kill it and when the batteries started dying his voice got creepier and it sounded like he was saying satanic chants so i made my parents throw him into a landfill and i fear everyday that he’ll come back

The writer's curse
I’ve been stuck in a particularly long episode of writers’ block lately and the stuff i have been able to come up with has been far less than I know I’m capable of. He knows the most intimate corners
Where I hide my heart, and he pulls it out and makes it face the sun
And he knows how to strip the husks
Off the seeds of all my hope, and plant them there beneath the rays
So that before him I grew, into a wild tree trunk
With branches that stretched towards the sky
And roots that dug themselves below the earth
Creeping and feeling, exploring the dampness...
I think and think and think, I’ve thought myself out of happiness one million...

It's my 21st birthday today
From here on its just a slow descent into old age and being a year older won’t mean anything as 21 is pretty much the last milestone birthday that anyone actually looks forward to having. Oh well! I look forward to my future as a cranky old hippie.

I hated hipsters before it was cool to hate...
This whole “hipster” fad is fucking terrible. Who are hipsters, you ask?
Basically a bunch of spoiled white kids sipping skinny decaf lattes and moaning about all their spoiled white kid problems. Like emos but with less black and more facial hair/t-shirts with triangles on them. You can spot a hipster from a mile away, usually boasting about their knowledge of Barvarian folk music...

– Sir Winston Churchill
Dreamscape, Scene 1
myinkstainedheart:
I have heard songs that
moved me, and by moved
I don’t mean those
which perked my hips
and twitched my feet solely,
but those songs that took
a grip of my being and swayed
my calloused heart gently.
And I would bribe all the
stars, even the sun rising
at the east, if they could
have you even once, convinced
to sing me a song and wrap me
in a serenade’s amorous...
